The Association of Certified Forensic Investigators heard from Richard Billington, Q.C. at its national conference. The event, which took place in Toronto, heard Rick Billington speak on the topic of “Ferreting Out and Seizing Assets and Evidence”. He spoke of recent developments in legal remedies to preserve assets and evidence that are at risk of destruction, alteration or removal in cases of fraud. The conference attracts bankers, law enforcement officers, lawyers, accountants and industry representatives to learn of developments in electronic fraud. Mr. Billington is a nationally recognized litigator and speaker who spoke on the latest legal strategies to combat fraudsters.
