Susan Billington, Q.C. and Richard Billington, Q.C. Judge Faculty of Law Trial Moots

The annual UCalgary Faculty of Law Trial Moots were held at the Calgary Courts Centre on January 25. The annual competition by law students focuses on trial presentation, evidence and witness examinations and cross-examinations. Judged by justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench, Provincial Court judges and senior counsel, the event is an important aspect of the Faculty of Law’s emphasis on practical courtroom skills and oral advocacy.
