Oliver Jull’s experience in civil litigation includes commercial litigation, energy & regulatory law, tort liability claims, employment matters, insurance and administrative law. He was Legal Counsel to the judges of the trial courts in Alberta (Alberta Court of Justice and the Court of King’s Bench) for over a decade, providing legal advice, analysis and opinion drafting on factually and legally complex matters. He served on the King’s Bench Civil Steering Committee and was Privacy Counsel to the Court.
Oliver appears before all levels of court in Alberta, before administrative tribunals, in mediations and in arbitrations. He holds a law degree from the University of Calgary and a Masters degree in Law in the commercial and regulatory aspects of energy law from the University of California, Berkeley.
He is active in the community, serving on the Parish Council of his church, and he enjoys hiking, skiing, curling, recreational hockey, travelling and languages (French and Spanish).
